Established in 2014, Ruff It Outdoors is owned and operated by Jess, a highly experienced dog walker you can trust and rely on.
We offer fun, off-leash walks for small groups of dogs living in Melbourne's inner-northern suburbs (Fitzroy North and surrounds). We love to venture to green, leafy spaces for a run, roll, sniff and splash!
Our walks are perfect for easy-going dogs, who are well socialised and can be trusted off-leash. We specialise in small to mid-sized dogs with moderate energy levels.
All dog walks are conducted by Jess, so you know exactly who your dog will be spending time with & who will be accessing your home.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
Our goal is to provide a positive experience for every dog in our care.
We prioritise your dog's safety and well-being above all else. We do this by keeping group sizes small, so that your dog will get the attention it deserves. We can keep a close eye on your dog at all times to avoid the risk of your dog becoming lost or injured.
Groups are carefully curated to ensure personality and behavioural compatibility. This is imperative to fostering a stress-free environment. Our dog walking experience is relaxing and fun. It serves as a positive contribution to your dog's life.
Your dog will travel in the comfort and safety of an SUV. It will be seated where it feels most comfortable. We visit designated off-leash dog parks, and in summer, avoid areas that have a high risk of snakes. Your dog will be kept on-leash to and from the car. We always carry leads, treats, toys and fresh water.
PRICE
45 minute dog walk - $40
Additional dog same household - $20
Prepaid pack of 5 walks - $190
Prepaid pack of 10 walks - $360
Walks are 45 minutes at the park, plus travel time.
Invoices are emailed prior to the walk and payment is made via direct deposit.
Closed weekends and public holidays.

Please note, if you live in an apartment building, or on a busy road, we'll need easy access to a guaranteed parking space that's within close proximity to your home.
HOW IT WORKS
Our dog walks are suitable for weekly, ongoing bookings. We will book your dog in for the same day/s each week.
Unfortunately we are unable to accomodate one-off or short-term walks.
We usually conduct two group walks a day. The first mid/late morning and the second around lunchtime. We are always mindful to break up the dog's day while you're at work.
We will group dogs according to location, personality and behavioural traits. For this reason, it is difficult to promise a certain time slot for your booking.
For any new enquiries, please contact us via the contact form. We'll be in touch regarding our availability. We can visit you beforehand to say hello and obtain a key. Or we can start walks straight away and you can provide a key via a lockbox or hidden somewhere safe.
